The concepts of a sound body and sound mind are both important characteristics for every SigEp to strive for. With the Balanced Man Ideal our members are expanding their minds while building their healthiest bodies. We believe that it is important for every person to strive for these characteristics and those who are successful should be rewarded for it. Therefore, every year the Georgia southern chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon offers a scholarship to incoming male(s) freshman. These are students that we feel have already shown outstanding acheivements as a leader, a scholar, an athlete, and a gentleman upon entering their college career.
